The goDCgo Ambassador Awards recognize DC employers that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to implementing commuter benefits and sustainable transportation programs for their employees. Organizations recognized have gone above and beyond to assist employees in their commute. Reducing single-occupancy vehicle use is key to helping us achieve the vision to make the District the healthiest, greenest, and most livable city in the United States.
Nominate your organization for one or more of the following awards:
Emerging Commuter Program Award
This organization worked to improve their program by adding new commuter benefits, offering incentives, or marketing sustainable commuting to employees.
This organization encouraged employees to bike to work by offering financial incentives, connecting riders, or providing on-site bike amenities.
This organization gives employees a better work-life balance by alleviating commute time with a telework program that has a high level of participation among employees.
Most Creative or Innovative Commuter Program Award
This organization has an engaging commuter program that offers innovative incentives such as creative subsidies, using mobile apps, or running a fun workplace challenge.
This organization made it easy for employees to share a ride by promoting carpool or vanpool options, offering subsidies, or connecting interested employees.
This award will recognize an organization nominated by an employee or employees for offering robust commuter benefits that encourage sustainable commuting.
All eligible organizations will be automatically considered for the following awards:
Capital Bikeshare Corporate Member Award
goDCgo will recognize the organization with the highest usage of Capital Bikeshare that was new to the program in 2018. All Corporate Members that joined in 2018 will automatically be considered for this award.
Capital Bikeshare Community Partner Award
goDCgo will recognize an organization in the Capital Bikeshare Community Partners Program with the highest amount of member trips. All Partners will automatically be considered for this award.
Outstanding Partner Award
This award will recognize an organization or individual that worked closely with goDCgo to enable employees to choose sustainable, affordable and healthy ways to get to work.

To be eligible for a goDCgo Ambassador Award, all organizations must:
- Be located in Washington, DC
- Offer commuter benefits
- Distribute information about commute options to employees
